The Helly Hansen Manchester Mid is a mid-height S7S safety shoe that keeps you dry, protected, and comfortable all workday long — even on construction sites, in wet production areas, or outside in changing weather. The upper is made of waterproof LWG-certified leather, and the built-in Helly Tech® waterproof membrane effectively keeps rain and moisture out, while the moisture-wicking, breathable lining can handle excess sweat. Dry feet, even after hours on your feet.
The Manchester Mid is completely metal-free: the composite safety toe protects your feet from falling objects without triggering metal detectors, and the non-metallic anti-penetration sole keeps nails and sharp debris at bay. The shoe meets the S7S class of EN ISO 20345:2022 — the strictest current standard for safety footwear — including oil and fuel resistant sole (FO) and certified slip resistance rating (SR). On wet floors, with oil stains, or on other slippery surfaces, the HELLYGRIP rubber sole provides the grip you need.
For daily wear, the open-cell PU footbed provides lightweight, long-lasting cushioning that doesn't compress after a busy workday, and the EVA midsole gives the shoe a springier feel. The mid-height design offers extra support around the ankle, making a difference on uneven terrain, when climbing ladders, or when frequently getting in and out.
