This low model 78423 combines a BOA closure with an S3 safety level, allowing you to tighten or loosen the shoe quickly while relying on a safe base during your workday.
The upper made of ripstop polyester with microfiber overlays is designed to remain light and durable, while the breathable lining helps to better wick away heat and moisture during long shifts. This makes the Helly Hansen Manchester low BOA feel more comfortable when you cover a lot of ground and don’t want to wear a heavy, clunky safety shoe.
Under your foot, a lightweight EVA midsole and an Open Cell PU insole provide cushioning and support, which is especially noticeable on hard floors and during prolonged walking or standing. The rubber anti-slip outsole offers extra grip on slippery surfaces, allowing you to move more confidently in logistics, service, or general manual work.
In terms of protection, it’s also solid: the metal-free composite safety toe protects your toes from falling objects, and the metal-free anti-perforation sole helps protect your foot from sharp objects on the floor.
