My product arrived damaged, what now?

It's unfortunate if your product arrived damaged; that's certainly not the intention. We're happy to help you receive a new, sturdy product. Please report your damaged delivery within 48 hours of receipt by sending an email to info@schoenenvanstaal.nl . Make sure to provide at least the following information: Your order number. The name of the damaged product. A description of the defect/damage. Clear photos of the defect/damage. After receiving your email, we will respond within 24 hours to find a solution. Once your report is approved, you can return the shoes free of charge, and we will send you a new pair.

I received the wrong item, what now?

Accepted Answer

If you received the wrong product, this is of course an error on our part, and we would like to resolve it. To arrange this, you can send an email to info@schoenenvanstaal.nl with at least the following information: Order number. Ordered product. Delivered product. Photo of the delivered product(s), including the shoebox and the box it was shipped in. After your report is approved, you can return the incorrectly delivered shoes free of charge, and we will send you a new pair.

Hopefully, we can come to a solution together. Do you offer a warranty on your products?

Because safety shoes and clothing are wear products, it deviates somewhat from the usual 2-year factory warranty. Our products are used intensively and will wear out for that reason, so they won't last indefinitely. However, a product should certainly be solid, so defects that clearly indicate a manufacturing fault will fall under the warranty. Think of loose soles, seams that come apart quickly, etc. There is a difference between damage due to use and damage due to manufacturing defects. Additionally, a product should not wear out abnormally quickly, and you should expect them to have a normal lifespan. If a product shows extreme wear within six months, you can also contact us. We will then see if we can accommodate you and if we can compensate you for this. The compensation somewhat depends on the supplier, but you can generally expect the following reimbursement: Unused: 100% 0 - 2 months: 80% 2-4 months: 60% 4-6 months: 40%
