The safety shoe MILES Low ESD S3 is a model from the very special WELLMAXX series by ELTEN. For the first time, the revolutionary Infinergy® material from BASF was used as the sole core in this safety shoe. It cushions your steps, is highly elastic, and returns to its original shape after each step. This allows the shoe wearer to regain some of the energy used while walking. The sporty, ESD-certified MILES Low ESD S3 is suitable for indoor and outdoor work.
The shoe features a plastic toe cap and a steel midsole. For the water-repellent upper, cowhide leather and hydrophobized nubuck leather were used, while a breathable textile lining regulates the shoe climate. The sole is very innovative: the arrangement of the profile blocks supports the ergonomic rolling of the foot while walking, and the "honeycomb construction" with "suction cups" prevents slipping. The abrasion-resistant protective toe cap prevents premature wear of the upper in the forefoot area. An advantage for employees with orthopedic foot problems is that the MILES Low ESD S3 is certified for orthopedic foot issues according to DGUV regulation 112-191. It is available in sizes 40 to 48.
