The Puma Cascades Disc Mid is a mid-height S3 safety shoe that's ideal for construction, machine building, and industry — anywhere you deal with heavy materials, uneven surfaces, and risks from falling or sharp objects on a daily basis. What sets this model apart from many other S3 safety shoes is the DISC closure system: with a single turn, the shoe fits snugly to your foot without pressure points. This is not only quick and convenient but also works smoothly when you're wearing gloves — a practical advantage you notice every day.
The upper is made of oiled full-grain cowhide leather, reinforced with Cordura® panels that provide extra durability in the most vulnerable areas. The shoe is water-repellent and has a wear-resistant toe cap, so it can withstand intensive kneeling without damage. The safety toe is made of fiberglass, and the anti-perforation sole consists of a flexible FAP® midsole based on Kevlar — making you completely protected from sharp objects penetrating from below without any metal.
The BreathActive functional lining regulates airflow in the shoe, allowing heat and moisture to escape during long workdays. The heel features the EVER.FLEX decoupling point: this ensures that the heel makes smooth contact with the ground with every step and reduces fatigue in your heel and lower leg when walking or standing on hard floors for extended periods. The outsole is made of PU/rubber, heat-resistant up to 300 °C (HRO), and SRC-certified for slip resistance on both ceramic and steel surfaces — suitable for almost any heavy work environment.
