The Puma Cascades Mid is a high S3 safety shoe for construction, assembly, and industry, designed for workdays where you walk a lot, stand, and work on rough surfaces. The upper is made of oiled full-grain leather with durable CORDURA, strong enough for intensive work, while the BreathActive lining helps keep your feet fresher and drier during long shifts.
Under the forefoot, you get protection from a composite-fiberglass safety toe and a flexible, metal-free FAP anti-perforation sole, so you're protected against falling materials and sharp objects on the floor without the heavier feel of steel. The S3 HRO SRC classification is suitable for work environments where grip, puncture protection, and a water-repellent shaft are important, along with a heat-resistant rubber sole up to 300°C for heavier work.
What makes this model particularly interesting is the combination of the evercushion BA+ insole, the EVER.FLEX decoupling point in the heel, and the VOLUME PLUS concept.
